Richard Lee was inspired by Piet Mondrian

 Piet Mondrian was born in the year 1872. He had a deep love for jazz music and a fascination with order and structure. His distinctive artistry celebrates geometric shapes and abstracted landscapes. Starting in 1910 with his tree paintings, he began to explore the space that exists between the trees, leading to a significant transformation in his work. His art further evolved to interpret spirituality, showcasing his innovative ideas. Mondrian focused extensively on neoplasticism and line painting, enabling him to push the boundaries of visual representation.

She had a strong aversion to copying others, preferring to create no representation that followed conventional norms. O’Keeffe was known for her ability to control her emotions and was fiercely independent in her art and personal life. She held firm beliefs in sexual freedom and explored this theme throughout her work. Although she posed nude, she often embraced a more conservative persona in her public life. Her artwork featured large, abstract flowers crafted with beautiful and vibrant colors, which have captivated viewers for generations. Importantly, she did not want children to focus solely on art; rather, she believed in a broader experience of life.
